Rural tourism house Casa de Esteiró

The rural tourism house Casa de Esteiró is situated 1 km to the south of Caminha, an old and historical town, at the River Minho mouth, in one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal, only at a few minutes walk from the river and the sea. Long sandy beaches and golden dunes, covered with wild bushes and flowers, lie between the medieval forest of Camarido and the Atlantic, opposite the dark granite castle of the Ínsua Island. The two rivers of Caminha – Minho and Coura – attract fishermen and tourists, not only for sports events, but also by account of its romantic setting and atmosphere. The green hills and darker mountains of Alto Minho rise only a few hundred yards from Casa de Esteiró.

Some distances: 20 km to the famous city of Viana do Castelo; 23 km to the fortress-town of Valença; 70 km to Braga, a medieval city, capital of Minho; 110 km to Santiago de Compostela (Spain); 50 km to Vigo (Spain); 80 km km to the city of Oporto Porto). The nearest golf course is the Ponte de Lima (45 km) .
